How much is the solar rebate in Yanchep WA?

Perth Solar Warehouse is a registered WA electrical business (EC010771), part of McKercher Corporation Pty Ltd. Licensed, insured electrical teams install across the greater Yanchep and Alkimos area, and we’re an NETCC Approved Seller.
Does PSW wholesale to other businesses?
No.
PSW supplies fully installed products only direct to Yanchep and Alkimos region end-users.
Why put 6.6kW of solar panels on a 5kW inverter?
From 1 May 2026, Energy Policy WA allows inverters up to 30kVA aggregate on a standard connection, and new or upgraded systems must be able to be remotely disconnected and reconnected, or else export limited to 1.5kW. As solar panels rarely reach peak rated power, some inverter manufacturers allow panel oversizing of up to 50%. For STC eligibility, the Clean Energy Regulator caps panel capacity at 133% of inverter capacity, so 5kW x 1.33 = 6.6kW of panels is the common package.
