Service area
A serviceable region
built to support your investment
We install across Perth metro from two bases: Bibra Lake (south) and Neerabup (north). Keeping a defined service area with localised bases helps us respond quickly when you need us after the install, not just on the day the system goes up.
- Two bases, one metro: Bibra Lake (south) and Neerabup (north) cover the greater Perth metro area between them.
- Core area is the full Perth metro, serviced daily from both bases. Mandurah and Peel sit on the southern fringe with no added travel cost. Yanchep and Alkimos are covered to the north, with extended reach up to Two Rocks.
- Just outside the metro? In serviceable cases we can still help. Send us your address and we'll tell you straight away.
- Perth Solar Warehouse is a McKercher Corporation electrical business (EC010771), so the same licensed business that quotes your system stands behind it after install.
- Whoever fits your system, Perth Solar Warehouse holds every warranty obligation, including the manufacturer guarantees.
Why we keep a defined service area
A service area isn’t a limit for its own sake. It’s how we keep the part that matters: being there after the sale. SunWiz and SolarQuotes both rank Perth Solar Warehouse among Australia’s leading solar installers, and that standing comes from knowing what we do well and staying inside it. Stretch a field team three hours out of town for a warranty callback, and the customer who installed last month waits longer for theirs. We’d rather cover the metro properly than cover the map thinly.

Frequent Questions
Do you install outside of your installation area?
In some cases, yes. The points on our coverage map show where we perform certain services beyond the standard metro area. Beyond that boundary, expect slower response times on service requests and possible additional install or delivery costs. Send us your address and we’ll give you a straight answer before you commit.
What are the extra costs beyond the installation area?
Installs or deliveries beyond the nominated Perth Solar Warehouse service area are quoted on a case-by-case basis, so any additional travel or delivery costs are set out before you proceed. Ask us and we’ll assess your address.
Do you use in-house installers?
Yes, and we also use subcontract installers. Perth Solar Warehouse is a McKercher Corporation electrical business (EC010771), licensed for electrical work in Western Australia. Our electrical teams follow ISO-certified processes and carry the insurance to work on your property.
We’ve lifted our install capacity by bringing on vetted subcontract teams alongside our in-house field service department. If you’d prefer an in-house team, you can ask for one. Either way, Perth Solar Warehouse stays responsible for every warranty obligation, including the manufacturer guarantees.
What is the wait time for an installation?
It depends on what you’re installing and, often, on approval timeframes with Western Power (the network) and Synergy (your retailer). Demand also runs in peaks, usually around rebate changes and the start of summer, which can stretch the longer end of these ranges.
As a guide:
- Inverter repair or replacement: 2-4 weeks (up to 8 weeks in peak demand).
- EV charger installation: 2-4 weeks (up to 8 weeks during peak demand).
- Residential solar installation: within 6 weeks (up to 26 weeks in peak demand).
- Battery installation: within 6 weeks (up to 26 weeks in peak demand).
- Commercial solar installation: 6 to 52 weeks (depending on approvals).
We’ll give you a realistic timeframe for your specific job when we quote it.
