What are the extra costs beyond the installation area?
Installations or deliveries beyond the nominated Perth Solar Warehouse installation area are an ‘assess’ component of any Perth Solar Warehouse product.

Yes. We also employ subcontract installers.
Perth Solar Warehouse is a McKercher Corporation electrical business (EC010771) licensed to perform electrical services in Western Australia. Our electrical service teams follow ISO-certified processes and are insured to perform electrical services on your property.
We’ve improved installation capacity by recruiting high-quality subcontract installation options to complement our in-house field service department. Customers can also nominate an in-house installation team if they prefer. Regardless of an installer’s employment relationship, Perth Solar Warehouse remains responsible for servicing all warranty responsibilities, including manufacturer guarantees.

What is the wait time for an installation?
Installation wait times vary depending on what you want to install. Quite often, this is due to an approval process with Western Power and Synergy or peak period inquiry.
As a guide:
- Inverter repair/replacement: 1 to 2 weeks (peak 4 weeks).
- EV Charger installation: 1 to 2 weeks (peak 4 weeks).
- Residential solar installation: within 4 weeks (peak 26 weeks).
- Commercial solar installation: 4 to 52 weeks depending on approvals.
- Battery installation: within 4 weeks (peak 26 weeks).
Post July 1, 2025: Solar or battery inquiry/installations are classified as a Peak period.
