Compare Inverters.
Many Perth homes now use an all-in-one system that combines a battery and a hybrid inverter. Our compare batteries page covers those. Due to reduced demand, this page’s updates will be retired in March 2026.
1-Phase Inverters
With a core range of hybrid solar and battery inverters, we provide greater battery compatibility assurance. Hybrid inverters are compatible with most AC and nominally DC-coupled batteries.

Frequent questions
Do I need a single or 3-phase inverter?
More often than not, it depends on the power supply to your property.
The easiest way to determine whether you have a single-phase or three-phase power supply is to open your electrical meter box and check your electrical meter. It will be written on the front face of the electrical meter.
If you still can’t spot it, take a photo with your phone and email it to Perth Solar Warehouse sales support. Or try this self-help guide with 6 ways to identify single or three-phase power supplies ›
Can I add batteries to the above inverters?
Yes. It’s all about battery selection. The easiest batteries to add to a basic solar energy system are all-in-one/AC-coupled batteries, such as the Tesla Powerwall 3, and Sigenergy Sigenstor require minimal introduction.
DC-coupled battery options such as BYD, Goodwe, iStore and Sungrow are available for connecting to selected Hybrid inverters. Compare batteries ›
What should I consider when selecting the ideal inverter?
Battery compatibility gets the most attention, and it matters. But the inverter is also your day-to-day window into the power your system makes, so look past the headline specs.
Two things worth checking: how good the monitoring app is, and whether the inverter supports an energy consumption meter. A consumption meter shows what your home actually uses against what your solar produces, that’s what lets you shift usage and cut your bill.
Every Perth Solar Warehouse inverter supports a compatible consumption meter, available at additional cost.
