Thank goodness for PSW. After 2 months of disappointments from other Solar companies who just didn't want to know us when we needed to upgrade our consumer line to enable our 6.5kW system - "come back when its all ready to have your solar installed". How much is the Synergy solar feed-in tariff?
Most residential 6.6kW solar arrays installed in Canning Vale on a 5kW inverter will qualify for Synergy’s solar Feed-in Tariff named; DEBS (Distributed Energy Buyback Scheme).
This means you can receive 2 cents per unit (kWh) exported off-peak (before 3pm or after 9pm) and 10 cents per unit (kWh) exported during peak periods (3pm to 9pm), as at 1 July 2025.

From 1 May 2026, Energy Policy WA allows inverters up to 30kVA aggregate on a standard connection, and new or upgraded systems must be able to be remotely disconnected and reconnected, or else export limited to 1.5kW.
Most leading inverter brands state that their inverters can endure solar array oversizing by up to 50%. The Clean Energy Regulator has had its say on this topic and capped the oversizing of solar inverters to 33%.
The common package therefore pairs 5kW inverter capacity x 1.33 = 6.6kW of solar panels.
